The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is a guideline used to describe achievements of learners of foreign languages across Europe. There are six reference levels that are widely accepted as the European standard for grading an individual’s language proficiency. We know that some schools maintain their own levels of language proficiency. Apprentisys lets you assign a level to every class that you create. You can associate the levels used by your school to the six levels of the CEFR to comply with the international standards.
